Ok. so here’s your summer kids included challenge workout:
equipment: ball, hula-hoops, water squirter(optional), whatever park furniture is available (ie: benches, stairs, retaining walls, tennis courts etc)
circuit 1-to be completed as soon as you arrive so that your kids realize this day is all about them.
find an open space place hula-hoops a designated distance apart and ‘race’ your child to each hoop.
(opt 1) older kids- if swings are available have a contest who can swing highest
(opt 2) little ones-how high can mommy push you squats. stand in front of your child’s swing, push swing back, complete 1 quick squat before swing comes back and PLEASE squat fast cuz if not your kids’ gonna laugh really hard when they toe punt your forehead (bonus funny mommy points if you let them do it on purpose)
circuit 3- while kids run n play on jungle gym structure squeeze in walking lunges as you keep your eye on the tiny ones or use the near by bench for a superset of pushup tricep dips.
AND ALWAYS KEEP THE CAMERA HANDY FOR THOSE ‘HEY MOMMY WATCH ME’ MOMENTS!!!
