Stay full of wonder & flawsome light

Yesterday someone posted this question on social media:

Have you ever walked in a room and wondered if anyone noticed you and said ‘Wow she’s beautiful’?

I have.

I’ve also surrendered this  misinterpreted stare to Christ.

I use to wonder & assume that the reason they were staring was because something must be wrong with me.

I wonder if there’s a bright light shining on you that people can’t possibly ignore.

I wonder if every second we spend in the presence of Jesus we become more like Him, drawing out the best of our God-given selves, quieting the doubt and insecurity.

I wonder if the mystery of Grace shows up on our face, in our posture and our smiles.

I wonder if we come as we are, flaws and all #flawsome ; if they’re drawn to our transparency and there’s something about us so radiant that they can’t help but notice.

“I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we’ve been shown the mystery! I’m telling you this because I don’t want anyone leading you off on some wild-goose chase, after other so-called mysteries, or “the Secret.””

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:2-4‬ ‭MSG‬‬

You are wonderfully made

I know my flaws, but He calls me awesome.

Friends, I did something bold, brave and full of all kinds of flawsome energy. God spoke some words into my heart & the heart of a sweet sisterfriend & it moved us in such a way, we put it on a shirt. And a mug. And another shirt. And a journal. And opened a store.
