Ready for change.

We can’t control change. As much as we’d love to.

But we can control the way we respond to change.

Especially unexpected change.

We can control the response to changes we quietly prayed for.

You know the prayers when we say ‘Lord I’m giving this to you’ and then you let it go?

Just so you know; God’s ideas are usually NOTHING like ours. (Isaiah 55)

Here comes the change.

We can’t control that. But we can control the way we respond to it by opening our mind & heart to look for the anchors God may be creating.

What are God’s anchors?

God takes the very thing that was weighing you down and uses it for His Glory, your good and then causes it to ground you.

You’ve heard the saying “your test will be your testimony & your mess will be your message”? Well here we are in the middle of our mess!

Be Mindful of Mess

Our mess can triggers thoughts, crazy thoughts, that love to steer us off course.

These thoughts trigger us to move toward things we can control. More often than not this results in overcompensating in some area of our lives; spirit, soul, body, finances or relationships. Overcompensation shows up in our habits like eating, exercise, accomplishments, relationships, etc. But that’s where the anchor comes to keep us steady! (John 10:10)

It’s time for change.

It’s a new season. There’s a time & purpose for everything (Ecclesiastes) a time to give God the things that are weighing us down, like those triggering ANTS (automatic negative thoughts) which leave us feeling broken.

It’s time to change how we respond to the triggers by giving these to God & let Him piece us back together.

Broken

Anchor Your FOCUS
Broken can be beautiful. Let’s give God our broken.

A few nights ago I couldn’t sleep. Wide awake at 3 am so I did what most of us do, flipped through the channels then checked Facebook, Instagram and email. Right there in the middle of an email devotional that I almost passed over, was what I now believe was the reason I woke up.

Basically it reminded me to keep movin. It reminded me that Not only can this trial not separate you from Me, but with Me … if you continue to look to Me and trust Me … I will use it to mold you into the woman I created you to be.

I THANK GOD for that email! I thank God that He knew I wasn’t sleeping well and needed to be reminded!

Adjust your FOCUS

I’m on a mission to help you adjust your focus to allow God to anchor you, to shut that stuff down that’s triggering negative thoughts.

It’s time for change. Time to reassure some of things we’ve doubted for far too long & strengthen the things that have been too weak. I’m ready for a change and I’m inviting anyone that needs to be made over.

What’s your goal for change today? Just for today?

Without a goal how will you know if you’ve accomplished anything?

Write this down: in BIG BOLD LETTERS
