“Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.
Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.
Be very sure now, you who have been trained to a self-sufficient maturity, that you enter into a generous common life with those who have trained you, sharing all the good things that you have and experience. Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.
So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
Galatians 6:1-10 MSG
From those pits of empty, lonely, rejected, hurting, desperate, brokenness that I’ve lived in and the Holy Spirit rescued me out of; while I still cling to grace, continue to be desperate for more of God’s love; I pray for you!
I pray for you.
My heart aches for you and I pray that He fills you up to the point you can’t contain it and it begins to overflow and spill out on those around you.
I pray for you.
With my hands wide open never clinging to the futile flaky temporal things of this world, ready to grab ahold of only that which God Himself has vetted as fitting for our well being, I pray for you.
I pray for you.
I pray for you not in my own strength or ability but through Jesus Christ alone the author and finisher of our faith. The alpha AND the omega. The giver of life and breath of my inhale and prince of peace & release of my exhale.
Here’s the deal. You’ve got this amazing story that’s yet to be told.
Every day we wake up and show up, there’s a new page being written.
If ever there was a time in YOUR life that God needed you to be involved it’s now.
Your heart, your passion, your short-comings, your failures, your hurts, your heart break, your pain, your strength, your weakness… He wants it all.
The characteristics you’ve carried throughout your life, make you who you are. You’re becoming, the transformation from the striving to the being; is a process only God can miraculously do, but He needs your cooperation.
This year, February has an extra day. A leap day. Take the leap of faith.
Faith says, my God will supply all of my needs.
Faith says, I can’t, but God can.
Faith is an action.
Faith is the EVIDENCE.
Faith is you in motion.
Faith is God in you in motion.
Faith is God in you, in motion, in spite of what it looks like.
Faith is God in you, in motion, in spite of what it looks like, showing the world that His plan always supersedes our best strategies.
Faith is God in you, in motion, in spite of what it looks like (on the scale); showing the world (even our own minds) that His plan (GREATER) always supersedes our best (hustle) strategies.
Faith is (a muscle being strengthened deep within our souls) God in you (spiritually, physically, emotionally, relationally, deepest desires), in motion (in Him we breath, move and have our being), in spite of what it looks like (off the scales – no matter which scales you’re measuring your worth and value and significance); showing ALL the world (using what seems foolish to quiet the wise; putting the last first and the first last); that His plan (Psalm 139 & Jeremiah 29:11-13) always supersedes our best strategies!!!
I call to You from the ends of the earth when my heart is without strength. Lead me to a rock that is high above me – Psalm 61
