January F.I.T. Challenge

What’s this challenge about?

The focus of the FIT-ness challenge is re-defining what we’ve been led to believe, feel, trust/distrust, crave, hope for and recognize.  We’re gonna redefine what nutrition looks like & tastes like, redefine who you are and who you believe you are, redefine what FIT looks like, what fit feels like, and even more important how fit moves.

I’m crazy giddy about what this year has in store for us because I know we’ve settled way too long for average. We’ve accepted the status quo and accepted ‘half-truth’ and considered it potential destiny.

It only takes 1 spark to start a flame, it only takes 1 great idea to launch a brilliant masterpiece, it only takes 1 YOU to fulfill God’s plan, it only takes 1 God to make it happen.

The challenge officially kicked off on 1.1.11  and since I love a ‘theme’ I’m totally gonna have some fun! Yes, that’s January 1, 2011 but here’s the thing…you can’t undo what’s already done. It’s over. You can only move forward by accepting your past, understanding that yes, it’s what made you why you are the way you are, but NO it’s not nor will it ever be WHO YOU ARE!!!

What kind of workout will we be doing? 

The biggest complaint I hear is always linked to the workout…the type, the time, the results….So here’s what we’re gonna do.

Do what works best for you!

Whether you prefer to hit the pavement walking or running, shakin’ off some stuff in your ZUMBA fitness, hittin’ the gym for an hour of power or simply pressing play for your favorite fitness DVD, I’m going to motivate you to just get it done!

Honestly start where you are and use what you have, give whatever you can give and God will honor that!!

Whether you have 10 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour, whatever it takes we’ll get our hearts pumpin’ & spirits movin’!

How did Shakeology support your transformation? (from the Shakeology blog)

What are the biggest benefits? There are not enough characters allowed to describe how much Shakeology has supported me. :) Remember my “McDonalds, Taco Bell, Starbucks” comments earlier? Yeah, those didn’t even enter my mind after the first week of being on Shakeology. I remember my Coach introducing it to me; she said it was a meal replacement shake that helped get rid of cravings, lose weight, and gain energy. I was all for that, and I needed to be sure to get all the proper nutrition while completing P90X. The first thing I remember when I first tried it was the taste. I had tried meal replacement shakes before and did not like the taste of them at all. I remember them having a very bad aftertaste as well. The fact that I could have a chocolate shake with peanut butter every day—and it was GOOD for me—was awesome. I definitely felt a difference in my energy level my first week, and I was definitely not having any cravings for anymore of the “bad” stuff too. Shakeology keeps me healthy and energized.
