Valentine’s Day, aka the day of chocolate! In over indulgence it can be quite regretful, in moderation, it can do a body good, cause an influx of therapy-like emotional stability and it can even help you sleep better (that would be the rich, expensive, dark anti-oxident benefit).

Chocolate treats: 

‘Do your body good’ mini-chocolate cupcakes

This simple recipe is loaded with heart healthy fiber. Deceptively decadent, these little tasty treats will feed the chocolate craving and do your body good!

1 box Devils Food or Milk Chocolate cake mix

1 can pumpkin

  • Combine cake mix & and 1 pumpkin, mix and spoon into mini cupcake tins
  • bake 15 minutes
  • top with light sprinkle of powdered sugar, cocoa powder or fresh unsweetened coconut
  • You could even top with a dollup of natural creamy peanut butter sweetened with honey!

Shakeology No-Bake Cookies


  • 1 Cup reduced fat or natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup quick-cook oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup honey or agave nectar
  • 1 cup Chocolate Shakeology powder

Preparation: First, remove any rings you’re wearing and wash your hands really well. Then combine ingredients in medium bowl. Mix well. Roll into balls (about a heaping teaspoon each).

Optional: Roll in crushed nuts, oatmeal mixed with a little cinnamon, whole-grain graham cracker crumbs, or unsweetened coconut flakes.
