In order to set yourself up for success you need to understand one thing.
How you leave is how you enter!
Finish what you started, but let God guide every step of the way.
2014 was so full of upside down, unexpected, dark, scary moments…
But in the darkest valley is where I started to recognize I had just enough light for the step I was on.
Use this simple easy to follow guide to finish the year stronger; not necessarily crossed off – finish, but preparation for a new mindset, new opportunities and new breakthroughs. New, could be now! Right now!! If we adjust our focus!
Setting up for success and establishing meaningful life goals is as simple as the power of 3.
- Write out 3 goals for each arena of your life (Spirit, Soul, Body, Finances and Relationships)
- Establish an anchor scripture for each arena and meditate on these scriptures (memorize and apply) create scripture cards using index cards or an app on your phone to create a screen saver or wallpaper on your phone.
- Set your ONE WORD as the foundation of your goals
Go get yourself a journal and write these goals in this journal. Keep the journal where you’ll be able to go back and reference these goals & anchor verses. They are anchors to keep you grounded when the waves try to rush over you.
Spirit – Choose an Anchor scripture that you’ll use as a reminder of God’s promises
- Top priority goal for your spiritual health
- Second priority
- Third spiritual priority
Soul – (Mind, Emotions, Will, Imagination) – What’s your Anchor Scripture
- Top Soul priority for keeping whole
- Second emotional health priority
- Third emotional/will power/mental health priority
Body – What’s your Anchor scripture
- Top physical health goal
- Second physical goal
- Third physical goal
Finances – What is your anchor verse – Anchor scripture
- Top financial goal – this should be the big goal
- Second financial goal
- Third financial goal
Relationships – What is your anchor verse
- Top relationship health goal
- Second relationship health goal
- Third relationship health goal
Here’s a list of the resources that truly helped me throughout the past year. These books, devotionals, bible teachers, fitness programs and nutritional resources helped me inside and out to adjust my focus and propelled me into wholeness; which was my ultimate goal. I hope that you’ll take the time to use a few of these as you map out your year.
I’m sitting here with a stack of books I plan to use for this year’s goals, but much like most other years, there are certainly books and resources that will probably fall on my path that will speak directly to the empty space in my heart and life, I trust God like that. Can you trust God like that? From your heart of hearts, your mind’s eye, your deepest well in your soul, the part of your spirit that says I know there’s more but I can’t touch it?
I’d love to have you join us on the MOMENT’em FOCUS 2015 challenge to get there…to get where God is reaching out His hand to you to give you everything He already set aside just for you. BUT FIRST, we have to be willing to let go of what we are holding to make space for what He has.

In the fall of 2009, (in)courage opened its doors and invited women from all over the world to come away and rest awhile. Creating a space in the middle of the every day chaos. A space to breathe. A space to connect. A space to listen. And a space to hear from the God who names us His daughters.
Using your body weight, you’ll perform fluid, low-impact, high-intensity movements inspired by Pilates and yoga. The result? Long, lean muscles, a high, firm booty, and tight, flat, sexy abs.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

What may have seemed like a set back, road block or delay this year; may have been a “witness protection” from God himself. (Pastor Keith)
Make sure you’re journaling every step of the process, this allows you to go back and recognize just how far you’ve come!
Let’s do this! 2015 is going to be awesome but I need you to make that decision RIGHT NOW! You ready???
