“My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.”
– Maya Angelou
FOCUS: YOU ARE BEING DISCIPLINED FOR SOMETHING GREATER!
So here’s what I think: The best thing you can do right now is to finish what you started last year and not let those good intentions grow stale. Your heart’s been in the right place all along. You’ve got what it takes to finish it up, so go to it. Once the commitment is clear, you do what you can, not what you can’t. The heart regulates the hands. This isn’t so others can take it easy while you sweat it out. No, you’re shoulder to shoulder with them all the way, your surplus matching their deficit, their surplus matching your deficit. In the end you come out even. As it is written, Nothing left over to the one with the most, Nothing lacking to the one with the least. (2 Corinthians 8:10-20 MSG)
What goals have you set for yourself? Were they fitness, personal, career, financial? Regardless of the focus trust that every effort you’ve made has been noticed by God and He adds His super to your natural. Believe that He is preparing you, there are great opportunities coming your way!
FOCUS: PAUSE & NOTICE HOW MUCH YOU’VE DONE SO FAR AND RECOGNIZE THAT HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU!
Run. Dance. Relax. God’s timing. ALL in His timing. When I finally stopped to realize my days have been sifted by His hands, I’m humbled by the ability to run & dance AGAIN!!!! In this reality I can truly relax! I believe that’s what it means to #livewithfire & #getinneractive
Stick around I’ll tell you the full story but more important point you toward running your race & your own victory in Him!

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sow; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ESV)
