First step toward reaching your goals

I created a list; 40 by 40; things I committed to myself would happen by the time I turned 40.

In my 39th year I experienced THE hardest year of my life – death, sickness, and trauma hovered my existence.

At 40 I looked at the list initially disappointed by it; eventually realizing that God had a better plan (Ephesians 3) far greater than my list.

I embraced His Psalm 23 promise that though I walked in the valley of the shadow of death I didn’t need to fear because He was with me.

This year I’ve recognized that this place of redemption and restoration is the result of building a foundation on seeking God first and all the other stuff (way beyond that list) will be given to me as He sees fit & appropriate for the season of life I’m in.

All authority, every victory is yours Lord!!!

That’s where we began 2015.

The possibility & opportunity are ALWAYS there, it’s up to us to make the decision to pursue it & put our faith in action!!!

God gives us the instruction, guidance and tools to recover it BUT ONLY HE has the ability to restore!!!

Therefore, I say to you, don’t worry about your life, what you’ll eat or what you’ll drink, or about your body, what you’ll wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothes?

Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life?

Instead, desire first and foremost God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, stop worrying about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭25, 27, 33-34‬ CEB)
